Vail

We spent 24 hours in Vail last weekend and I loved every single minute of it.  We drove up Saturday morning and immediately landed ourselves at the Red Lion in Vail Village for our first beverage of the trip. After checking into our wonderful hotel (completely out of our league, but thanks to livingsocial we acted as if we belonged) we bought a bottle of wine and a s'more kit for our post dinner evening in the hot tub.  Although we had packed for a nice dinner we decided to go casual (aka Rob talked me into watching the Heat game) with some bar food and beer tasting.  Sunday we woke up and watched the french open in bed before renting bikes for the morning.  We rode and took pics along the way and got to see just how beautiful Vail is in the summer and how we want a mountain house someday, quite humorous to think about at this point.  Needless to say, we are lucky to have such an awesome place within 2 hours of us.  And sad that we only have 6 more weeks until we leave!  And our trip...I sold my car and kitchen table.  I'm on a roll.
